Another Basaynon has unfortunately been lost, and has now joined our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Our Fellow Basaynon, Mr. Cesar Estorninos past away last Saturday, November 8, 2008, after battling for many days in the ICU, with pancreatic complications. There was a vigil and wake service held this past Friday November 14 and 15, 2008 in the Los Angeles area. Cesar will be laid to rest in his dear hometown of Basey, Samar, Philippines.
Please include the soul of Mr. Cesar Estorninos in your prayers, as well has the entire Estorninos Family who is in mourning of this terrible lost.

Here are some extra information for you:
The holidays are fast approaching but we definitely didn’t want to miss on another year where Basaynons don’t take the time out to come together and join in the holiday spirit! Times are tough, although they say that “laughter is the best medicine”… and of course whenever Basaynons are together, there is plenty of good laughter and cheer all around!

This year's medical mission during the days leading up to the BASEY TOWN FIESTA was reported to be a very busy event, where many patients were awaiting for medical help from fellow Basaynon medical professionals.
The Medical mission which was held in Basey 2 Elementry School, was a one day event that gathered not only many Baseynon patients that were in need of medical help and medicine, but there was also a long list of medical professionals: doctors, nurses, and volunteers to help in this ONE DAY MEDICAL MISSION!
Hermano Mayor, Dr. Bebot Tandinco & Dra. Mei Tandinco and other medical professionals were there to assess on this event.
A great thank you to all Basaynon, Balik-Basaynons, and volunteers who one way or another reached out to help assist, or provided hours to make this medical mission possible for their Basaynons!
St. Michael the Archangel, Defend us in the day of battle; Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, Cast into hell, Satan and all the other evil spirits, who prowl through the world, seeking the ruin of souls.
