Bagyo Frank

Bagyo "Frank", has recently passed through the Visayas area affecting areas like Cebu, Calbayog, Guian,Tacloban, Basey, and other towns.

Sources state that "Frank" brought in a lot of rainfall, but it was a good think that it was during the day rather than during the night time, in case residents felt the need to evacuate in times of extreme emergencies.

Classes and work were either cancelled or announced as "half day", due to the weather conditions. Others also had a hard time commuting back to Basey from Tacloban because of road conditions, trees were found to have fallen and blocked the highway.

It was also reported that part of the Church's roof in Basey ending up flying away because of the strong winds and heavy rain that the storm brought in.

Although no one has been reported lost, missing, or dead. Many residents of Manila are also starting to prepare for the worse as the storm is heading up north to the Luzon area.

Residents of Tacloban have working landline (telephone) system, but have no electricity; which has also affected the accessibility of water. Landlines for Basey are down, as well as electricity. Globe cell sites were also stopped and affected by the recent storm, causing many cellphones users to be disgruntled; temporarily stopping their cell services.
